The Centralia (6-6) beat the Walla Walla (7-9) 5-4 in seven innings on Saturday at Columbia Playfields behind Rachel Diaz De Leon, who went 1-3 and hit a home run.

Mallory Chavez brought the heat against the Centralia during his outing. Chavez held the Centralia hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one.

Kierstin Smith got it done on the rubber on the way to a win. He allowed four runs over seven innings. Smith struck out eight, walked five and gave up eight hits.

Mickenzie Mullins ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
