Cierra Barkis had two extra base hits, sparking the Bellevue (16-3) to a 4-3 victory in seven innings over the Lower Columbia (12-4) on Thursday at Bellevue College- Softball Fiel.
He singled in the first inning, doubled in the sixth inning, and homered in the seventh inning.Nicole Bolasky was hot from the plate for the Lower Columbia. Bolasky went 1-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He tripled in the first inning.
Ciera Lockwood improved to 9-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Bellevue. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.
Krystina Fischer (7-1) took the loss for the Lower Columbia. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
