The Chatham Anglers (14-24) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 6-4 to the Harwich Mariners (24-13) on Friday.

While the Chatham Anglers led until the fourth inning, the Harwich Mariners worked their way back and took the lead on an RBI double by Max Burt.

Nicholas Feight was solid at the plate for the Harwich Mariners. Feight went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings.

The Chatham Anglers' lineup had no answer for Brad Bass. Bass held the Chatham Anglers hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four.

Hunter Williams recorded his second win of the year for the Harwich Mariners. He allowed four runs over five innings. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered six hits.

Simon Mathews (1-3) took the loss for the Chatham Anglers. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked one and struck out six.
