A.J. Balta put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Cotuit Kettleers. He homered in the first inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

Sean Guenther (1-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
