Kevin Smith went 1-3 and hit a home run, helping the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox (17-11) to a 9-5 victory over the Brewster Whitecaps (11-16) on Tuesday at Red Wilson Field.

Kel Johnson racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Brewster Whitecaps. He singled in the seventh and eighth innings.

Bryan Pall improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Jacob Wloczewski (0-3) took the loss for the Brewster Whitecaps. He lasted just zero innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
