The Phipps Park Barracudas (10-12) had a tough outing on Friday, as the South Florida Huskies (6-13) dominated in an 11-3 win at Cypress Park C S.

A two-run double by Chris Ortega and a two-run single by Brynn Martinez helped the South Florida Huskies score four runs in the fifth. The South Florida Huskies had five hits in the inning.

Martinez racked up three RBIs on two hits for the South Florida Huskies.

It was a good day at the plate for the Phipps Park Barracudas' Guy Casaceli. Casaceli went 2-4 and scored one run. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the third inning.

Braxton Bennett got the win, running his season record to 2-1. He allowed two runs over five innings. Bennett struck out three, walked two and gave up seven hits.

Bradley Hammel (1-1) took the loss for the Phipps Park Barracudas. He allowed six runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked two and struck out one.
