The South Florida Huskies (5-13) jumped out to an early lead on the West Boca Snappers (12-14) and captured a 10-1 victory on Saturday at Coral Glades Sportsplex.

With five runs in the first three innings, the South Florida Huskies left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

An error, an RBI single by Sal Rodriquez, an RBI single by Nick Guantner, and a two-run double by Alex Mack in the first inning supplied the early offense for the South Florida Huskies.

Brynn Martinez had a hot bat for the South Florida Huskies. Martinez went 2-3, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first and sixth innings.

The West Boca Snappers couldn't get anything going so long as Junior Ramiraz was on the hill. Ramiraz gave up just three hits, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five during his six innings of work.

Corey Martinez (0-1) took the loss for the West Boca Snappers. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
