Zach Wingate went 2-4, sparking the Delray Beach Lightning (2-1) to an 8-7 victory over the West Boca Snappers (1-2) on Saturday at Miller Park.

Chuck Arcuri pitched lights out for the Delray Beach Lightning. The West Boca Snappers managed just one hit off of Arcuri, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Sal Geraci was solid at the plate for the West Boca Snappers. Geraci went 2-4 and scored two runs. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the first and ninth innings.

Roman Wild brought the heat against the Delray Beach Lightning during his outing. Wild gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his three innings of work.

Dave Egeland recorded his first win of the year for the Delray Beach Lightning. Egeland struck out two, walked none and gave up one hit.

Chris Phillips (0-1) took the loss for the West Boca Snappers. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
