Christian Adorno went 1-2 and hit a home run as the Alexandria Aces (10-8) took home a 6-5 victory over the D.C. Grays (8-11) in seven innings at Frank Mann Field on Sunday.

It was a good day at the plate for the D.C. Grays' Evan Pace. Pace went 1-3, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the fifth inning.

Nick Pedalino improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Alexandria Aces. Pedalino struck out none, walked none and gave up one hit.

Marlon Pruitt (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
