Boyd helps the Moose Jaw Miller Express down the Fort McMurray Giants 7-4

Louis Boyd drove in three runs, helping the Moose Jaw Miller Express (12-21) to a 7-4 victory over the Fort McMurray Giants (11-23) on Saturday at Ross Wells Park.

He singled in the first inning and homered in the fourth inning.

Joshua Iannetti got on base three times in the game for the Fort McMurray Giants. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the third inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Ryan Dunn brought the heat against the Moose Jaw Miller Express during his outing. Dunn gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his 3 1/3 innings of work.

Bo Sheridan got the win, running his season record to 2-2. He allowed four runs over 6 2/3 innings. He struck out five, walked three and surrendered seven hits.

Regan Gillis ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
