The bats were busy at Seaman Stadium on Monday, and when the dust cleared the Okotoks Dawgs (18-10) had a 10-8 win over the Melville Millionaires (5-21).
The two teams combined for 24 hits in the game.
Kellen Marruffo went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for the Okotoks Dawgs. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fifth inning.
Cole Masik was effective even in defeat, mowing down five the Okotoks Dawgs batters and allowing one run.
Nick Vickers got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed two runs over four innings. Vickers struck out four, walked two and gave up three hits.
Tyce ONeill (0-2) took the loss for the Melville Millionaires. He allowed nine runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out one.
