A superb effort by CJ Lewington carried the Okotoks Dawgs (16-8) to a 6-0 win over the Edmonton Prospects (9-13) on Wednesday at Seaman Stadium.

Lewington held the Edmonton Prospects scoreless for seven innings. Lewington struck out four and allowed no walks and two hits.

The biggest inning for the Okotoks Dawgs was the sixth. In the inning the Okotoks Dawgs scored four runs. The Okotoks Dawgs scored in the sixth on a single by Kellen Marruffo, a double by Justin King, a single by Taylor Davis, , and a single by Brendan Rose.

King was hot from the plate for the Okotoks Dawgs. King went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs.

Zach Siggelkow couldn't get it done on the bump for the Edmonton Prospects, taking a loss. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
