Noah Gapp hopes every outing could go as well as Wednesday, as Gapp tossed a shutout to carry the Edmonton Prospects (16-20) to a 4-0 victory over the Swift Current Indians at Mitchell Field.
Gapp kept contact to a minimum, striking out 10 the Swift Current Indians (26-9) batters. The Edmonton Prospects' pitcher tossed nine innings of shutout ball and allowed only four hits.

Juan Pizarro ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed one run.
