The Regina Red Sox make the most of 8 hits in 6-5 victory over the Swift Current Indians

Both the Regina Red Sox (8-4) and the Swift Current Indians (11-3) put runners aboard on Saturday, but it was the Regina Red Sox that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 6-5 win at Currie Field.

Aden Campbell went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Regina Red Sox. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the second and fifth innings.

Liam Goodall put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Swift Current Indians. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fifth and sixth innings.

Ben Schweinfurth recorded his third win for the Regina Red Sox even though he allowed five runs over 5 2/3 innings. Schweinfurth struck out five, walked three and gave up nine hits.

Nelson Quark (1-2) took the loss for the Swift Current Indians. He allowed six runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked three and struck out five.
