The Swift Current Indians (12-4) scored five runs in the eighth to cap an 11-3 win over the Weyburn Beavers (8-9) on Sunday.

The Swift Current Indians scored in the eighth on an RBI double by Nick Poirier, a sacrifice fly by Culver Plant, , a two-run single by Thomas DeBonville, and a solo home run by Liam Goodall.

Goodall racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Swift Current Indians.

Clint Clymer had an impressive outing against the Weyburn Beavers' lineup. Clymer held the Weyburn Beavers hitless over 1 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Jordan Anderson reached base four times in the game for the Weyburn Beavers. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the first, fourth, and fifth innings.

Braulio Torres-Perez improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Swift Current Indians. He allowed three runs over six innings. Torres-Perez struck out eight, walked two and gave up seven hits.

Nick Dorcean (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
