Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Thursday as the Palm Springs Power (4-2) outscored the Alberta Grizzly (3-3) 13-11 in seven innings.
The two teams combined for 22 hits in the game.
Zach Alofaituli did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Palm Springs Power, reaching base three times. He scored three runs and had two RBIs. He homered in the third inning and singled in the seventh inning.
Adam Picard racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Alberta Grizzly. He singled in the second and third innings and homered in the sixth inning.
Nick Grim got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed three runs over one inning. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered two hits.
Will Gerhard was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in two innings, walked eight and struck out one.
