Michael Jurgella went 2-2, helping the Washington Blue Sox (1-4) to a 1-0 victory over the Midwest Haymakers (2-2) on Tuesday at Palm Springs Turf Field.

Kawagashi Haruki brought the heat against the Washington Blue Sox during his outing. The Washington Blue Sox managed just one hit off of Haruki, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his three innings of work.

Darion Katynski ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
