The SW Oregon top the Tacoma behind Mitchell's 3 hits, 6-2

A great effort by Sam Mitchell lifted the SW Oregon (12-29) to a 6-2 win over the Tacoma (28-11) on Saturday at Minnitti Field .

Mitchell hit two home runs for the SW Oregon. Mitchell went 3-5 in the game with three RBIs and three runs scored. Mitchell homered in the first and fifth innings.

The SW Oregon got the win thanks in large part to Tanner Crooks's dominant, six-strikeout performance. Crooks allowed two earned runs, five hits and three walks over seven innings.

Harrison Bragg went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Tacoma. He homered in the first inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Teagan Lind was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out six.
