Hannah Rothwell was cold coming off the bench, but Rothwell warmed up quickly as Rothwell stroked a key pinch-hit single in the five to lead the Lower Columbia (14-4) to a 10-9 win over the Blue Mountain (4-20) on Wednesday at BMCC Softball Field .

With the Lower Columbia trailing by one, Rothwell came to the plate and singled.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 19 total runs and 27 hits during the game.

Nicole Bolasky racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Lower Columbia. He tripled in the second inning and singled in the third and fifth innings.

Krystina Fischer improved to 8-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Lower Columbia. He allowed one run over four innings. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered four hits.

Megan Ulrey (0-5) took the loss for the Blue Mountain. He allowed 10 runs in seven innings, walked three and struck out three.
