A great effort by Steven Skolarz led the Lafayette Aviators (11-12) to a 4-0 win over the DuPage Drones (12-11) on Tuesday at Benedictine Sports Complex.

Skolarz kept the DuPage Drones off the board during his seven innings of work. Skolarz struck out eight and allowed one walk and three hits.

Riley Benner racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Lafayette Aviators. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Zack Thomas pitched lights out for the DuPage Drones. Thomas held the Lafayette Aviators hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four.

Keven Long couldn't get it done on the hill for the DuPage Drones, taking a loss. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
