Caleb Stayton knocked in three runs, sparking the Kokomo Jackrabbits (10-7) to a 4-2 victory over the Lafayette Aviators (6-10) on Tuesday at Kokomo Municipal Stadium.

The Lafayette Aviators had no answer for Trey Bickel, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Bickel held the Lafayette Aviators hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.

Riley Benner paced the Lafayette Aviators at the plate. Benner went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the first inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Evan Lovick got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered seven hits.

Skyler Harrison (0-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just seven innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
