The Hannibal Cavemen make the most of 7 hits in 6-5 victory over the Springfield Sliders

The Hannibal Cavemen (7-13) and the Springfield Sliders (11-8) both had scoring chances on Tuesday, but it was the Hannibal Cavemen that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 6-5 win at Clemens Field.

Austin Siener had two extra-base hits for the Hannibal Cavemen. He doubled in the third and fifth innings.

Andrew Quinn had an impressive outing against the Hannibal Cavemen's lineup. Quinn gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Tyus Adkins improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Hannibal Cavemen. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered seven hits.

Lucas Hall (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
