Jake Walters did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Quincy Gems, reaching base three times. He doubled in the first inning.

Aaron Stone picked up the win for the Quincy Gems. Stone pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, four hits and five walks while striking out two.

Matthew Green got on base three times in the game for the Hannibal Cavemen. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the second innings and doubled in the sixth inning.

Jordan Chapel (0-1) took the loss for the Hannibal Cavemen. He lasted just three innings, walked five, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
