The Evansville Otters (12-7) continued to pile up the runs on Thursday, scoring three runs in the last three innings, on the way to a 14-2 landslide win over the Joliet Slammers (8-11) at Bosse Field.

Gomez racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Evansville Otters.

Melvin Rodriguez got on base two times in the game for the Joliet Slammers. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the fourth inning.

Kaleb Ort was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out one.
