A walk-off single from Ben Spiztnagel brought home the winning run for the Hamilton Joes (19-11) in a 7-6 victory over the Richmond Jazz (9-21) in 10 innings at Foundation Field on Saturday.

Spiztnagel did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Hamilton Joes, reaching base four times. He scored one run and had two RBIs. He doubled in the ninth inning and singled in the tenth inning.

Bryson Shelton racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Hamilton Joes. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Mathew Szabo got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed one run over three innings. He struck out five, walked none and surrendered three hits.

Daniel Kurtzer (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
