The Walla Walla need walk-off double to beat the Clark, 10-9

A walk-off double from Austen Morfin brought home the winning run for the Walla Walla (2-0) in a 10-9 victory over the Clark (1-2) in 12 innings at Warrior Field on Saturday.

Morfin was solid at the plate for the Walla Walla. Morfin went 1-2. He singled in the fourth and fifth innings and doubled in the twelfth inning.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 19 total runs and 29 hits during the game. Both bullpens were busy with 13 pitchers used in the game as the skippers of both squads tried to finish it off.

Josh Kutzke racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Walla Walla. He singled in the first and fourth innings.

Lowden Smith recorded his first win of the year for the Walla Walla. He allowed one run over five innings. Smith struck out five, walked one and gave up three hits.

Chase Vanek was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.
