The Chemeketa (5-7) had a tough outing on Friday, as the Shoreline (3-3) dominated in a 9-1 win in six innings at Everett Boys _ Girls Club .

A three-run triple by Alyssa Giesbers and a sacrifice fly by Shelby Reyes helped the Shoreline score four runs in the sixth. The Shoreline had five hits in the inning.

Sarah Casel was hot from the plate for the Shoreline. Casel went 3-4 and scored two runs. He singled in the third, fifth, and sixth innings.

Kathryn Goff had an impressive outing against the Chemeketa's lineup. The Chemeketa managed just three hits off of Goff, who allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out three during his six innings of work.

McKenna Culpepper (1-2) took the loss for the Chemeketa. He allowed nine runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked none and struck out four.
