The Edmonds get on top of the SW Oregon early but can't hang on in 4-3 loss

The Edmonds (15-5) built an early edge on Sunday, but the SW Oregon (6-19) roared back to steal a 4-3 victory at Triton Field .

While the Edmonds led until the fifth inning, the SW Oregon worked their way back and took the lead on a three-run home run by Sam Mitchell.

Mitchell racked up three RBIs on one hit for the SW Oregon. He homered in the fifth inning.

Dylan Pearce had an impressive outing against the Edmonds' lineup. The Edmonds managed just two hits off of Pearce, who allowed three earned runs, walked five and struck out five during his six innings of work.

Jared Gray handled the SW Oregon's lineup with ease, racking up seven strikeouts. Gray allowed no earned runs, four hits and no walks over six innings.

Gray (1-1) took the loss for the Edmonds.
