The Worcester Bravehearts (28-12) had a tough outing on Wednesday, as the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (15-24) dominated in a 10-2 win at Doyle Field.

The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs scored four runs in the third on the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs scored in the third on a sacrifice fly by Grant Hoover, an RBI double by TJ Ward, a double by Ward, , and a single by Kyle Bonicki.

Ward racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs.

Ryan Ward paced the Worcester Bravehearts at the plate. Ward went 3-4 and drove in one. He singled in the first, fourth, and sixth innings.

Eric Close (2-1) took the loss for the Worcester Bravehearts. He allowed six runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out three.
