The Worcester Bravehearts (21-8) jumped on the Nashua Silver Knights (19-11) early on their way to a 4-3 win on Wednesday at Holman Stadium, scoring four runs in the first inning.

The Worcester Bravehearts scored in the first on a sacrifice fly by Mike Coggeshall, a two-run triple by Dante Ricciardi, and an RBI double by Matthew Diesel.

Ricciardi racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Worcester Bravehearts.

Pat McGowan pitched lights out for the Worcester Bravehearts. The Nashua Silver Knights managed just one hit off of McGowan, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

Greg Stagani recorded his third win of the year for the Worcester Bravehearts. He allowed three runs over five innings. Stagani struck out five, walked none and gave up seven hits.

Mike Geannelis (3-2) took the loss for the Nashua Silver Knights. He lasted just seven innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
