The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (9-15) outlasted the Pittsfield Suns (10-13) at Wahconah Park 4-3 on Wednesday after 12 innings.

With the score tied at two, Sean Webster came to the plate and singled, plating Rupert House.

Webster racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the twelfth innings.

Andrew Barnes handled the Pittsfield Suns' lineup with ease, racking up eight strikeouts. The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs' pitcher tossed 4 2/3 innings of shutout ball and allowed only two hits.

Thomas Hughes did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Pittsfield Suns, reaching base four times. He singled in the seventh inning and doubled in the twelfth inning.

Anthony Assante recorded his first win of the year for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered one hit.

Matt Cuneo (3-1) took the loss for the Pittsfield Suns. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
