The Brockton Rox offense too much for the Nashua Silver Knights in 17-1 rout

The Brockton Rox (10-10) shut the door early on the Nashua Silver Knights (12-6), capturing a 17-1 victory on Thursday at Holman Stadium.

Eleven runs in the first three innings allowed the Brockton Rox to put the game away early.

A two-run double by Eric Feliz in the first inning and a two-run single by Chase Smartt, an RBI single by Feliz, an RBI single by Feliz, a two-run triple by Trent Turner, and an RBI single by Ben Porter during the second inning helped the Brockton Rox put some runs on the board early.

Feliz racked up four RBIs on four hits for the Brockton Rox.

Austin Bollinger had an impressive outing against the Nashua Silver Knights' lineup. Bollinger held the Nashua Silver Knights hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Dante Baldelli was solid at the plate for the Nashua Silver Knights. Baldelli went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Bryce Tucker recorded his first win of the year for the Brockton Rox. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered four hits.

Mike Geannelis was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in 1 1/3 innings, walked three and struck out none.

The Brockton Rox hammered the Nashua Silver Knights pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 16 hits, 10 RBIs and 14 runs scored.
