Beau Myers was cold coming off the bench, but Myers warmed up quickly as Myers stroked a key pinch-hit single in the nine to lead the North Shore Navigators (5-12) to a 7-6 win over the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (7-10) on Tuesday at Fraser Field.

With the North Shore Navigators trailing by one in the ninth inning, Myers came to the plate and singled.

A walk-off single by Joey Pena gave the North Shore Navigators the win.

Pena got on base two times in the game for the North Shore Navigators. He singled in the tenth inning.

Riley Herold was hot from the plate for the North Shore Navigators. Herold went 4-5 and scored one run. He singled in the second, fourth, sixth, and seventh innings.

Jake Dexter improved to 1-2 on the year by picking up the win for the North Shore Navigators. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered two hits.

Brock Riley (0-1) took the loss for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
