The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (6-5) beat the Brockton Rox (6-5) 7-2 on Tuesday at Doyle Field behind Ryan Solomon (Northeastern), who went 2-4 and hit a home run.

Riley Sorenson (Merrimack) put together a nice outing. Sorenson gave up just one hit, allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out seven during his six innings of work.

Eric Feliz (Notre Dame) had a hot bat for the Brockton Rox. Feliz went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the seventh inning.

David Moyer (St. Johns) (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out seven, and allowed four runs.
