Izzy Fuentes (Faulkner) did his part on the rubber, but it wasn't enough to carry the Bristol Blues (6-4) to a win on Sunday, as the Bristol Blues fell to the Brockton Rox (6-4) 3-2 at Campanelli Stadium in 10 innings.

Fuentes kept the Brockton Rox off the board during his eight innings of work. Fuentes allowed three hits, no walks and struck out seven.

The Bristol Blues had the lead early, but couldn't hold off the Brockton Rox. The Bristol Blues were up until the tenth inning, but the Brockton Rox had other plans for the final outcome, taking the lead back on an error.

Cory Poplawski (Salve Regina) improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Brockton Rox. Poplawski struck out none, walked one and gave up three hits.

Sebastian DiMauro (Hartford) (0-1) took the loss for the Bristol Blues. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
