The game between the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (1-3) and the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs went into extra innings, but when the last out was recorded the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs emerged with a 11-7 victory.

With the score tied at five in the eleventh inning, hit a sacrifice fly, scoring Grant Hoover (Shippensburg University).

Justin Sleigh (Lock Haven University) racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He tripled in the sixth inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Jacob Lamb (Richmond University) brought the heat against the Brockton Rox (0-3) during his outing. The Brockton Rox managed just one hit off of Lamb, who allowed no earned runs, walked five and struck out seven during his six innings of work.

Nick Hornbaker (Lock Haven University) recorded his first win for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs even though he allowed five runs over three innings. Hornbaker struck out three, walked none and gave up five hits.

Josh Smith (Kentucky) couldn't get it done on the hill for the Brockton Rox, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out three.
