Both the Walla Walla (10-12) and the Spokane (16-10) put runners aboard on Saturday, but it was the Walla Walla that were able to take advantage, pulling out an 8-6 win at Spokane Falls Community College.

Jacie McDaniels racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Walla Walla. He doubled in the third inning.

Michele Strauss racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Spokane. He homered in the second inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Even though Mallory Chavez allowed six runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory, his sixth of the season. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered 11 hits.

Makenzie Norwill ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fifth loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
