The Spokane (19-14) and the Walla Walla (19-13) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the Spokane that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 4-3 win at Warrior Field .

Austen Jones pitched lights out for the Spokane. The Walla Walla managed just one hit off of Jones, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

Steven Sordahl was solid at the plate for the Walla Walla. Sordahl went 3-5 and scored one run. He singled in the first and fifth innings.

Lowden Smith ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
