Tyler Thorson was cold coming off the bench, but Thorson warmed up quickly as Thorson stroked a key pinch-hit single in the nine to lead the Spokane (7-3) to an 8-7 win over the Lower Columbia (10-2) on Sunday at Spokane Falls Community College.
With the Spokane trailing by one, Thorson came to the plate and singled.

Enrique Martinez recorded his second win for the Spokane even though he allowed seven runs over five innings. Martinez struck out two, walked two and gave up nine hits.
Taylor Davis couldn't get it done on the bump for the Lower Columbia, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
