The Treasure Valley (16-22) built an early lead against the Blue Mountain (5-35), scoring three runs in the first inning, en route to a 5-1 win on Tuesday at BMCC Softball Field .

The Treasure Valley scored in the first on an error, a sacrifice fly by Matti Chavez, and a fielder's choice.

The Treasure Valley were led by Madison Wallace's hitting. Wallace went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Francesca Rodriquez allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk while striking out two over seven innings of work.

Megan Ulrey was solid at the plate for the Blue Mountain. Ulrey went 2-3 and scored one run. He singled in the fourth inning and tripled in the sixth inning.
