The Clackamas (26-7) beat the SW Oregon (19-10) 7-5 in seven innings on Tuesday at Clackamas Community College Sof behind Kylie Gonzales, who had two extra base hits.
He homered in the third inning and doubled in the fourth inning.The SW Oregon couldn't get anything going so long as Emily Marchbanks was on the hill. The SW Oregon managed just two hits off of the the Clackamas' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his three innings of work.
Danielle Crocket racked up three RBIs on two hits for the SW Oregon. He singled in the third inning and homered in the fifth inning.
Ceidilee Norbriga got his seventh win for the Clackamas despite allowing five runs over four innings. Norbriga struck out four, walked two and gave up four hits.
Shevan DeFreitas (8-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out two.
The Clackamas were sparked by Hannah Vandomelen and Gonzales, who teamed up for four hits and five RBIs.
