A single by Tia Hedman, a two-run double by Hannah Wilcox, a sacrifice fly by KamrynMae Kanae, an RBI single by Paige Matsuki, and a groundout by Karley Quibilan in the first inning and an RBI single by Kanae during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Edmonds.Chantel Brown boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 2-2 day at the plate to pace the Edmonds. He singled in the fourth and fifth innings.
Hailey Malakowski held the Skagit Valley scoreless during his five innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on three hits while striking out four.
Mallory Kruzich (2-13) took the loss for the Skagit Valley. He allowed 10 runs in five innings, walked two and struck out one.
