The Mt. Hood (26-17) shut the door early on the SW Oregon (12-33), capturing a 10-0 victory on Saturday at SWOCC Athletic Fields .

Seven runs in the first three innings allowed the Mt. Hood to put the game away early.

An RBI triple by Isaac Benard and a two-run home run by Nolan McCall during the first inning fueled the Mt. Hood's offense early.

J.T. Williams boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the Mt. Hood. He singled in the first, second, and third innings.

Cameron Jack held the SW Oregon scoreless during his five innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on five hits while ringing up five.

Dakota Nelson couldn't get it done on the rubber for the SW Oregon, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked none and struck out none.
