Megan Chan clubbed two home runs to carry the Highline (9-25) to an 11-2 win over the Grays Harbor (0-28) at Bishop Athletic Complex in five innings.
Everything was working at the plate for the the Highline in the fifth. In the inning the Highline scored six runs. The Highline scored in the fifth on an RBI single by Morgan Struck, an RBI single by Stefani Gollin, an error, an error, an RBI single by Cheyanne Haas, and a wild pitch.
Liz Garman racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Grays Harbor. He singled in the first and third innings.
Kayla Higa improved to 3-6 on the year by picking up the win for the Highline. He allowed two runs over five innings. Higa struck out one, walked two and gave up four hits.
Alyssa Satteson (0-22) took the loss for the Grays Harbor. He allowed 11 runs in five innings, walked three and struck out three.
The Highline were sparked by Chan and Lorea Maranan, who teamed up for seven hits and four RBIs.
