The Clark (15-22) had a tough outing on Friday, as the Mt. Hood (32-8) dominated in an 8-0 win in five innings at Clark Softball Field .

A three-run home run by Jazmayne Williams delivered the runs in the fourth. The Mt. Hood had three hits in the inning.

Williams racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Mt. Hood.

Kayla Byers held the Clark scoreless during his five innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on five hits while ringing up five.

Kelsey Oldham ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his tenth loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in five innings, walked two and struck out three.
