The Walla Walla (3-8) beat the Yakima Valley (1-12) 11-3 in five innings on Friday at Dunbar Field after a six-run explosion in the first inning.

The Walla Walla scored in the first on an RBI single by Mikayla Faulkner, an RBI single by Erin Ware, an RBI single by Ware, an RBI single by Jacie McDaniels, an RBI single by McDaniels, and a three-run triple by Lyndzie Parker.

Anna Williams led the Walla Walla's offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the fifth innings.

Brittney Bradley improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Walla Walla. He allowed three runs over five innings. Bradley struck out two, walked five and gave up seven hits.

Beth Anderson couldn't get it done on the hill for the Yakima Valley, taking a loss. He allowed 11 runs in five innings, walked two and struck out one.
