The Bellevue (31-16) couldn't get anything going so long as Brad Johnson was on the hill. Johnson held the Bellevue hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out none.
It was a good day at the plate for the Bellevue's Joe Wainhouse. Wainhouse went 3-4 and drove in one. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fourth and eighth innings.
