Early boost from Hammudeh helps the SW Oregon get past the Bellevue, 4-2

The SW Oregon (8-19) jumped on the Bellevue (23-7) early on their way to a 4-2 win on Saturday at Linfield in seven innings, scoring three runs in the first inning.

The SW Oregon scored in the first on a two-run double by Domenic Hammudeh and a groundout by Conner Corpus.

Hammudeh racked up two RBIs on two hits for the SW Oregon.

Dylan Pearce got the win for the SW Oregon thanks to eight strikeouts. Pearce allowed one earned run on four hits and five walks over seven innings.

Robbie Shineman had an impressive outing against the SW Oregon's lineup. The SW Oregon managed just one hit off of Shineman, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

Drew Lomsdalen couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Bellevue, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
