A walk-off single from Logan Cordeiro brought home the winning run for the Blue Mountain (1-5) in a 4-3 victory over the Mt. Hood (3-5) in 10 innings at Blue Mountain on Saturday.
Cordeiro led the Blue Mountain's offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He also drove in one runner. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the tenth inning.
Mason Cline had an impressive outing against the Mt. Hood's lineup. The Mt. Hood managed just three hits off of the the Blue Mountain's pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked four and struck out four during his six innings of work.
Trevor Oldham improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Blue Mountain. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered two hits.
Connor Stevenson was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out five, and allowed one run.
