The Douglas (15-5) beat the Skagit Valley (5-12) 9-0 in five innings on Tuesday at Softball City after a five-run explosion in the second inning.
The Douglas scored in the second on a fielder's choice, a solo home run by Taylor Woodward, a sacrifice fly by Madison Heggie, and a single by Michaela Moore.
Woodward racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Douglas.
Moore held the Skagit Valley scoreless during his five innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on six hits while striking out three.
Kiana Anderson (2-3) took the loss for the Skagit Valley. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
